Rei, Usagi, Ami, and Luna sit together in Rei's room at Hikawa Jinja. Luna says, "When the three of you get together like this, it's so heartening. But we shouldn't get overconfident. Our battle is still ahead of us." Usagi seems to be competely ignoring Luna... she interrupts, talking about a Sailor V comic book. She and Rei begin arguing over the book, while Ami flips through Rei's encyclopedia. Finally, Luna has had enough of the arguing and lack of concentration... she screams, "That's enough!"
Everyone gets quiet and Luna sighs, saying, "Hving three of you is meaningless if you're always like this. Be more aware of yourselves as senshi. Usagi apologizes, and Rei asks Luna what she wants them to do. Luna says, "Like I've been saying, you girls need to work together to find the princess!" Unfortunately, none of them know how the princess can be found. Ami suggests that they do something else until Luna gets more information about the princess; something such as protecting everyone from the enemies that are "threatening the peace."
Ami shows the girls a newspaper article about the new amusement park, Dream Land. Fifty people who went to the park the previous week went missing.
In the Dark Kingdom's lair, Queen Beryl projects an image of the three Sailor Senshi. She says to Jadeite, "To think you allowed a third Sailor Senshi to join them. Jadeite! You do not have many opportunities left to redeem yourself." Jadeite tells her that he is already working on a plan to steal large amounts of energy, and that he intends to kill the Sailor Senshi. Queen Beryl simply tells him not to forget what she told him, and that she can always replace him.
At the Dream Land amusement park, a park security guard tells a large group of reporters that he doesn't think the recent disappearances have anything to do with Dream Land. One reporter points out that fifty of the park's customers have gone missing. The represntative says that the number of people entering and leaving the park has been the same every day, and that the people didn't disappear at the park (implying that they must have disappeared after leaving the park). He then asks the reporters to leave and physically pushes them out the door. Meanwhile, Rei, Ami, and Usagi had been listening from outside. When the reporters have gone, the security guard chuckles to himself and reveals his face... it is Jadeite!
Rei thinks about what Jadeite said... if the numbers match at the end of the day, the people must have disappeared on their way home from Dream Land. Luna points out that it's strange if only people from the park disappear. Ami realizes that Usagi is missing from the group, and Luna says that she's probably goofing off somewhere again.
Suddenly, they hear Usagi yell, "YAY!!! Yahoo! Yahoo! I'm riding a horse!" She is on the carousel smiling and having fun. Luna gets very angry at her... later, when all three girls and Luna are sitting on a park bench, Luna scolds Usagi, who apologizes. Rei also tells Usagi that she should be more responsible, and act like a Sailor Senshi. She then smacks Usagi on the back, knocking her off the bench. Usagi falls forward onto her knees and tells Rei not to be so bossy; she does a good job when she has to!
Usagi looks up to find a lion in front of her! The lion roars, and Usagi jumps on top of Rei's head. The lion then says hello! A giggling girl wearing a princess outfit walks up and says not to worry; the lion is mechanical. Usagi recognizes the girl as the Dream Princess, and runs forward to her. The Dream Princess explains that the lion is remote-controlled. She waves a hand over the apple she's holding, and several mechanical animals walk out of the bushes. Usagi jumps onto the back of a mechanical bear, but Rei grabs one of her pigtails and pulls her off. Rei then whispers that she senses a strange aura coming from the Dream Princess.
Rei and Usagi begin to argue, but the Dream Princess interrupts by saying that she has a show at the park's candy house in an hour. She invites the girls to come and see the show, and they look at the candy house in the distance. Meanwhile, the doors to the candy house ominously open, and inside, Jadeite collects energy. He says that once someone gets inside, they can never get out. Dozens of people lie all over their place, their energy having been drained.
The girls walk around the park, but don't see anything wrong. Luna suggests that they split up into two groups to look. She and Ami are in one group, while Usagi and Rei are in the other. Later, Usagi and Rei sit on a bench, watching the Dream Princess play with some children and the mechanical animals. Rei still suspects the princess; she says that her hunch is usually right. Usagi picks up a brown mechanical bunny and says how cute the animals are.
The Dream Princess helps a child get onto the back of an animal. Suddenly, Rei runs forward and warns the child not to get on. The Dream Princess asks, "Why? It's mechanical, but it's sage, you know." Rei is still angry, so the Dream Princess takes the child off the animal. Usagi suddenly pops up and says that he should ride it now... she grabs the boy and puts him back on the animal. She and Rei begin to argue, pulling the child back and forth. The child's mother then appears behind them and angrily asks what they're doing to her boy. The girls are quite embarrassed...
The two girls then decide to ride the amusement park's train. Rei says that she feels like they're just playing, but Usagi says that they're on patrol. The train suddenly stops, and Usagi falls forward into the back of the passenger in front of her. Much to her dismay, it is Mamoru Chiba, who calls her "odango atama." Rei immediately picks up this nickname, making Usagi even angrier. Rei and Mamoru begin talking about Usagi's odango until Usagi can't stand it anymore; she stands up and demands to know what a guy is doing on the train by himself. She fakes laughter and says that he must be a loser. Mamoru angrily says that he has reasons to be there.
The train starts again, and Usagi falls backwards onto Rei. Usagi yells at the driver of the train. A female voice comes on over the park intercom and says that a show will soon be starting at the candy house. Rei whispers to Usagi that the guy sitting in front of them, Mamoru, kind of looks like Tuxedo Kamen. Usagi considers it, but vehemently denies it.
[ Commercial Break ]
Usagi and Ami run up to the candy house to find Luna sitting outside, while Ami is inside. Rei says that she feels an evil aura. Inside the building people eat candy and sweets. The Dream Princess stands on stage and welcomes everyone to the show. She then blows a red gas out of her mouth, covering all of the guests. As they look around, the scenery completely changes; now everyone sees fields of flowers. Ami is quite confused.
The Dream Princess laughs to herself, thinking that she'll take everyone's energy while they are dreaming. Energy then begins to swirl towards the red apple she holds in her hands. The energy of the guests, including Ami, is being drained. Just before Ami passes out, she finds that her suspicions have been confirmed; this is where everyone was disappearing.
Outside the candy house, Rei gasps and says that something has happened inside. The doors are locked, and Usagi begins to cry. Luna instructs the girls to quickly transform, and they do. Sailor Mars then uses her "Fire Soul" attack to blast the doors open, then rush inside. Meanwhile, Jadeite stands inside the building collecting energy.
Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars run through the hallways of the building, and finally confont the Dream Princess, who welcomes them and says that she has been waiting for them. She then blows the red gas towards them, causing them to hallucinate and believe that they are in a field of flowers. Luna warns the girls that this is only an illusion.
The Dream Princess approaches Sailor Moon with a wreath of flowers, saying that it is a gift. Sailor Mars quickly knocks it out of the princess's hands, and it turns into a snake which bites Sailor Mars. The snake falls to the ground and turns to stone, while the Dream Princess laughs, saying that now the the poison will spread through her blood and turn her to stone. Sailor Mars's arm becomes encrusted with stone, but she uses her "Akuryou Taisan" attack to destroy the stone and return her arm to normal.
Sailor Moon begins to cry, but quickly stops, and Sailor Mars demands that Princess Dream reveal her true identity. The Dream Princess says, "Very well, then. Please wait a moment." Her head suddenly disappears into the collar of her top, and she is lifted off the floor. She begins spinning in the air, and her dress changes from pastel colors into dark black and red. She stops, and her head slowly emerges again. Her eyes then roll forward; she looks more like a puppet or doll now than a real person. She then bows and introduces herself as the youma Muurido.
She opens her mouth and pours out the red gas again. This time, the girls and Luna find themselves in a forrest full of trees. They hear a horse's hooves approaching, and Tuxedo Kamen appears on a horse. Although Luna has warned them that this is just another illusion, they fall for it anyway and rush forwards into the trap. They begin riding an imaginary carousel around with Tuxedo Kamen leading them.
Muurido looks on, and says she will take their energy while they are dreaming. She passes her hands over the apple to begin collecting their energy, but a red rose flies through the air and causes her to drop the apple to her feet. The illusions disappears; the candy house can be seen once again. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars are actually riding on two broomsticks! Tuxedo Kamen appears in the window, high above. He says, "You should only dream while you're sleeping" before he disappears.
Muurido picks up her apple again, and says that she will let them dream one more time. The red gas emerges from her mouth again, but the girls run away. They soon find Ami, who become concious again, although everyone around her is still unconcious. She tells her friends that the apple is what steals energy. Luna tells the girls to work together, and Ami transforms into Sailor Mercury.
Sailor Mercury uses her "Sabão Spray" attack to cover the area in fog, confusing the youma. Sailor Mars then uses her "Akuryou Taisan" attack, immobilizing the youma. Sailor Moon uses her "Moon Tiara Action" attack in conjunction with Sailor Mars's "Fire Soul," and together, they destroy Muurido.
Once Muurido and her apple have been destroyed, Jadeite can no longer collect energy. Muurido and the candy house turn to dust, and everyone's energy is restored.
Later, the girls walk through the park eating ice cream. Luna reminds them that they were able to win because they worked together, and that they should forget what happened earlier in the day. Of course, Rei and Usagi begin to argue again; this time, over who has the bigger ice cream cone. attack.
