SAILOR MOON DVDs

There are two hundred complete episodes of Sailor Moon in five seasons. The first through fourth seasons were dubbed or subtitled in English, but not the fifth. Therefore, any subtitled fifth season set you find will be fansubbed; original fifth season boxed sets will not work on North American DVD players. Unfortunately, the North American distribution rights for the anime has now expired, and it will no longer be produced in North America. It is very difficult to find original boxed sets, and they have become quite expensive. Many places offer various bootleg copies, so it is important to know the difference between original and bootleg editions.

Sailor-Moon-Stars.net
This site has DVD boxed sets for each of these seasons. All of the sets appear to be bootlegs, but the prices are quite good if you're looking for a bargain. This site offers DVDs in Japanese only, in Japanese with English subtitles, or dubbed in English. When I have ordered from them, their shipping was a little slower than I expected, and I got NO feedback from "customer service." But I got the DVDs nonetheless, and the quality was decent.

Amazon.com
Amazon.com offers the ADV boxed sets (with English subtitles), but they are often out of stock. You can purchase the sets through third-party sellers on this site, but you will almost always get a bootleg copy of the set (although the sellers don't advertise them as such), and Amazon won't really do anything about it. If you order through a third-party seller, EXPECT to get a bootleg copy (even if the seller says it isn't), and don't be surprised when it arrives on your doorstep.

Omegapin.com
I absolutely do not endorse this site. Although they started out very well with favorable reviews, good quality, and happy customers... they have since gone way downhill. Many customers have complained of not getting orders for upwards of six months, although Omegapin took their money. Customer complaints are not even met with a response. Their website now says that their orders are backlogged. However, in the event that they reopen in the future, I do not recommend purchasing from this website, as they do not have a positive track record.

Moon Kingdom Products
Moon Kingdom Products has a large selection of merchandise, at reasonable prices. Their manga and videos are North American versions, as is much of their merchandise, but they offer several Japanese items. Some items are very rare, while others are not. They offer Japanese artbooks I and II for only $22, which is more than reasonable! The minimum amount for an order is $20, and they have a flat shipping rate. They accept most credit cards and money orders, but do not accept checks.

GKWorld
This site offers bootleg editions of PGSM DVDs for as low as $12.95. These bootlegs have both English and Chinese subtitles, and are region-free, so they will play in any DVD player. The site accepts all major credit cards, as well as money orders and paypal.

JBox.com
JBox sells different PGSM DVDs for $65 each. They are located in Japan, so shipping can be costly - but DVDs are lightweight. Jbox accepts all major credit cards, as well as money orders and checks. Beware - they also sell hentai (pornography), which is sold alongside other products. To find PGSM products, simply search for "Sailor Moon" or "Sailormoon" on the main page.

Sakura Media
Sakura Media offers a large selection of North American DVDs dubbed in English. Of course, these are all from the first through fourth seasons. The store is located in Canada, so prices are often listed in Canadian dollars. However, if you are using a credit card to make purchases online, your credit card will automatically convert the amount to your form of currency, which will show up on your bill. Sakura Media accepts credit cards and Paypal through the web.
