RESIN:

click for larger version Resin is the genius loci from Volume 15, ChibiUsa's Picture Diary #3. She haunts the area near the Juuban Dentist Office, where she gains energy from cavaties in the area. Lately, however, not many people have had cavaties, so she needs more. She appears at the dentis's office and takes over, sending out flyers that advertise an attractive and young new dentist, new rennovations to the building, and a pretty female assistant (her). The next morning, Usagi, Minako, ChibiUsa, Diana, and Kenji Tsukino (Usagi's father) visit the dentist's office. ChibiUsa goes in for her check-up while the others wait. As they wait, Resin (dressed as the assistant) gives them tea and cakes to snack on. Kenji and the girls think that this is very pleasant, but Diana feels rathe suspicious. The food causes them to fall asleep, as ChibiUsa goes into the office. When she sits in the chair, she is suddenly strapped in!! Resin appears with a large syringe, telling her that she will inject the girl with a cavity ghost in order to make all of her teeth become filled with cavities. Fortunately for ChibiUsa, Diana rushes into the room, throws a piece of cake at Resin, and presses a button to release ChibiUsa. ChibiUsa quickly transforms into Super Sailor ChibiMoon, but Resin attacks her and causes her cavity to throb in pain. When ChibiMoon cries out in pain, her hair pieces are activated, sending super-sonic waves throughout the room. Resin and the dentist begin throwing junk food at ChibiMoon, who eats it. Diana quickly awakens Usagi and Minako, who transform into Super Sailor Moon and Sailor V. They rush into the room and scold ChibiMoon for eating too much junk food. They then begin throwing junk food at the dentistry equipment, amidst Resin's cries that the sugar will ruin it. Sailor ChibiMoon uses her "Pink Sugar Heart Attack" on Resin, causing her to melt, and the dentist's office to return to normal. Resin is often incorrectly called "Regine" or "Regin." Her name actually comes from the acrylic resin material of which some dentures are made.
