click for larger version Momoko Momohara is one of ChibiUsa's friends from school, who first appears in episode 081. She is ChibiUsa's best friend, and ChibiUsa has given her the nickname "Momo-chan." They attend Juuban Elementary School together, and are in class 4-1. We first see Momoko when ChibiUsa is lying in bed, sick. Usagi brings the girl in hopes of helping ChibiUsa feel better - and it works. ChibiUsa jumps out of bed and runs to Momoko, who proceeds to tell her everything that has been happening at school. Later, the droids Chiral and Achiral possess Momoko. ChibiUsa arrives at school to find the girl in a violent rage, even telling ChibiUsa that she hates her. Eventually, the stressful situation causes ChibiUsa to emit a short burst of energy, which heals Momoko (but also makes the Black Moon Clan aware that she is the "rabbit" for which they are searching). She appears again in Sailor Moon S episode 126, walking with ChibiUsa and some friends to school. In Sailor Moon SuperS episode 150, she appears once again, in the Crown Game Center, talking with ChibiUsa about the poster for the Dead Moon Circus that is being put up. Usagi and Mamoru come in, and Momoko asks if they're in love. They reply that they are, and Momoko says that she wants to grow up and fall in love soon. Later, VesVes gives her and ChibiUsa tickets to the Dead Moon Circus. The two go to the circus with the other girls, and VesVes extracts the girl's Dream Mirror, which is not the Golden Mirror. The senshi then meet the Amazones Quartetto. VesVes calls upon the Lemures GaraGara Girl ("Gara" is the Japanese sound that a snake makes, so GaraGara Girl has the body of a snake and the head of a woman), and tells the Lemures to devour Momoko's Dream Mirror, which it does. The Lemures is destroyed by the senshi, and ChibiUsa restores Momoko's Dream Mirror. Momoko's final appearance in the anime is in the Sailor Moon SuperS special, "ChibiUsa no Bouken! Kyoufu, Kyuuketsuki no Yakata" ("ChibiUsa's Adventure! The Dreaded Vampire Castle"). A beautiful girl named Lyrica Hubert has just transferred to ChibiUsa and Momoko's class. The girls think she is gorgeous, and the boys are enamoured by her. Momoko and ChibiUsa walk her home, and find out that she lives in the Embassy at the top of the hill. Momoko remarks that it has been empty for a long time, and that she has hard that it is haunted. Lyrica seems very weak, and does not show up for school for several days. The boys who are sent to give her her assignments are not seen again... making the girls very suspicious. ChibiUsa is sent to give Lyrica her assignments, and Momoko goes with her. When they arrive, Lyrica invites them in. ChibiUsa suggests that she is a vampire, but the girl remarks that she is wrong. Momoko asks to use the restroom, and Lyrica offers to show her where it is located. After the two girls have been gone for quite some time, ChibiUsa and Kyuusuke (who also came with them to Lyrica's home) become suspicious and go to look for them... they find Lyrica drinking Momoko's blood, and see the bodies of Ishihara and Kuwano, the boys who had been sent to give Lyrica her assignments before. Lyrica transforms into a bat-like vampire and attacks. The vampire is defeated, and Momoko wakes up dazed in ChibiUsa's arms. Momoko's seiyuu is Taeko Kawata. As an interesting note, in the Sailor Moon R and S season, Momoko has brwon hair, but in the Sailor Moon SuperS season, she has purple hair.

click for larger version Momoko Momohara first appears in ChibiUsa's Picture Diary #1, in Volume 05. ChibiUsa is introduced to the 4-1 class at Juuban Elementary School, and the teacher instructs her to sit next to Momoko. We learn that Momoko's house is below a restaurant, and that she likes gardening. A strange new girl named Lyrica Hubert has also transferred to the school, and everyone is enamoured by her. She lives in the embassy on top of the hill, which is reputed to be haunted, and is often called "Hell House." Apparently, her mother is the ambassador for U Country. Lyrica is often very weak, and each day, a young boy from ChibiUsa's class takes her home... but the boys never return the next day. After witnessing Lyrica eating flowers, she goes home to talk to the senshi about it. They convince her that Lyrica is actually a vampire. The next day at school, the teachers asks Momoko and ChibiUsa to take Lyrica her assignments. They are scared, so two boys from their class, Sorana and Kyuusuke offer to go along with them. Lyrica's mother assures them that the girl is not a vampire, but she recoils at the smell of garlic on ChibiUsa's breath. As the children are leaving the house, they find that Momoko is missing. They go inside to discover that Lyrica's mother IS a vampire, and she is drinking Momoko's blood! The three run outside, but the two missing boys appear with fangs in their mouths, and Lyrica emerges from her coffin saying that she wants blood. Just as things get out of control, Sailor V and Sailor Moon arrive. ChibiUsa attacks the two boys who were missing with the strong garlic on her breath, and Sailor V and Sailor Moon destroy Lyrica and her mother. The next day at school, they are told that Lyrica changed schools again. Momoko says that she had a dream that everyone in Lyrica's house turned into vampires.
