D Point was the location of the Dark Kingdom's lair.
D Point was the location of the Dark Kingdom's secret lair. For some time during the first season, the Senshi, Artemis, and
Luna sought the entrance to D Point in order to attack the Dark Kingdom. Finally, in
episode 044,
Sailor Venus and Artemis found a tunnel leading to D Point in a small cafe called La Crepe. As soon as all five girls and
the cats arrived, they all went into the tunnel together. They were immediately attacked by Kunzite, who attempted to send
the girls into an alternate dimension. Instead, the
Ginzuishou
guided them to the ruins of the
Moon Kingdom,
where Queen Serenity told them about their past. Meanwhile, Luna and Artemis (who had escaped Kunzite's attacked) trudged
on until they found the exit to the tunnel, which Artemis stated was located at the North Pole. After finding the crater
marking the actual entrance to the Dark Kingdom's lair, they were attacked by Kunzite. Luckily, the Sailor Senshi arrived
just in time to rescue them and kill Kunzite.
