What Takes Place Here: Photo Shoot with Kijin Shinokawa
Episodes of Appearance: 017 - Model ha Usagi? Youma camera no nessha
The New Japan Hotel was the venue for a photo shoot with award-winning photographer Kijin Shinokawa
in episode 017. The photo shoot was held on
July 4. Kijin was actually under the influence of Nephrite's youma, Cameran,
at the time, and stated that he was only interested in taking pictures of young girls. Hundreds of young women were selected
for the photo shoot, including Usagi Tsukino, Naru Osaka, and Haruna Sakurada. Because of the influence of the youma, however,
they became trapped in photographs when their pictures were taken. Usagi avoided having her photo taken and transformed into
Sailor Moon. She then confronted Kijin, and Cameran emerged from his camera. Sailor Moon soon defeated Cameran and all of
the models were released.
