Episodes of Appearance: 050 - Usagi's Crisis! The Tiara Doesn't Work

The Virtual Reality Theater was a new interactive gaming theater that opened in the Juuban Shopping District in episode 050. Usagi, Luna, Mamoru, Minako, Makoto, Ami, and Rei all visited the theater on its opening day. There was an extremely long line to get in. The aliens Ail and An also went disguised as Seijuuro and Natsumi Ginga, thinking that it would be an excellent place to gather human energy for the Makaiju. When Natsumi saw Mamoru (on whom she had a crush), she invited him to join her and Seijuuro. Usagi refused to leave Mamoru's side, so she also invited herself to join the group.

Although the place was extremely popular and there was a very long line, Seijuuro hypnotized an usher into believing that he had "special VIP status" so that he could move to the front of the line. Natsumi, Seijuuro, Usagi, and Mamoru went in the theater together. Inside, they saw that Kenji and Shingo Tsukino were already there playing the game. The group of four continued through a series of long caverns inside the theater, shooting at virtual monsters with their laser guns. When An and Ail found themselves alone, they released the Cardian Hell Ant.

Several people were injured in this attack because they thought that Hell Ant was just another virtual monster. Even Kenji, Shingo, and Mamoru fell prey to the Cardian. Fortunately, the Senshi and Moonlight Knight were able to defeat Hell Ant. Everyone who witnessed the attack and ensuing battle (except Mamoru) was knocked unconscious, and the entire incident was explained away as computer trouble.
