Episode of Appearance: 001 - The crybaby Usagi's splendid transformation
Jewelry Osa-P jewelry store that is owned and operated by Naru Osaka's mother. It first appears in episode 001. In episode 006, it is revealed that Naru and her mother actually live in an apartment above the store.
In episode 001, it was used as part of one of Jadeite's schemes to collect energy. The store is having a large sale. Naru takes Usagi to the sale, and Naru's mother says that since Usagi is Naru's friend, she can have a discount. The store is very crowded, with dozens of customers. Naru's mother shows Usagi a glittering diamond ring that usually sells for around 500,000 yen, but will sell it to the girl for just 30,000 yen. Both Naru and Usagi yell, "500,000 to 30,000?," which causes a mob to crowd around them. Luckily, the girls manage to crawl out. Usagi laments that she wants the ring, but can't ask her father because she failed her test, and she has used all of her allowance money for the month. Usagi leaves the store. Later, the store is shown agan, and all of the customers have begun to fall ill. Naru feels scared, and looks for her mother. She sees her mother laughing, saying that she has gathered a lot of energy. Suddenly, her mother turns around and glares at her in an unnatural way, still laughing - it is not actuall her mother at all, by the evil youma Morga! Naru's mother is actually locked in the basement. Morga begins to choke Naru, but Sailor Moon suddenly appears in the doorway. The youma's head twists around unnaturally, and Sailor Moon identifies herself, giving her speech. Morga releases Naru and awakens all of the customers who had passed out, calling them her slaves and telling them to attack Sailor Moon. The women rush at her, and one even attacks with a broken bottle. Sailor Moon begins to cry, and her hair pieces glow. They emit super-sonic waves that temporarily incapacitate Morga and her minions. Sailor Moon attacks Morga with "Moon Tiara Action!" Morga is destroyed. Naru, her mother, and the other customers seem to have no memory of the events that took place in the store.
Jewelry Osa-P got its name because Osa-P (or Osappi) is a way that Naoko Takeuchi sometimes refers to her editor (Osabu).
The exterior portion of the lower floor is white, with pink awnings over the doors and windows. Above this first story is a large blue and green sign that bears the name of the store. "OSA-P" is written in pink Roman letters. The upper part of the sign is not perfectly horizontal; it has a dip in the right side. Inside the store, the walls are white, and have pink and purple display cases and paintings affixed to them. There are also several red curtains in some areas, probably used to hide display cases at certain times. The counter tops are smooth, shiny glass. Most of them have rounded rather than squared edges. Several can be found in the center of the floor, used as display cases for jewelry. White columns can be found throughout the store. Some of them are against the wall, while other are not. Lamps attached to the sides of these columns provide lighting for the store. The building seems to have very high ceilings with windows near the top; in the first episode, Tuxedo Kamen enters through an upper window, and seems to be at a much higher elevation than the other characters in the store.
