XX Department Store -- XX Department Store is a large department store that appears in episode 021. Before becoming professional animators at Studio Dive, Hiromi Matsuno and Kazuko Tadashita buy one set of professional animation pencils at the department store, dividing them into two matching boxes. They decided to only use them for special occasions, only when they "draw the finest anime that will never disapoint the dreams of children." The boxes had ribbons on them, so the girls agree to ask each other's permission before untying the ribbons.

Yamagishi -- Fish Eye's victim in episode 143 who is a ballet director staging a presentation of a tragic ballet, Giselle. Fish Eye shows up as a ballerina, and becomes Yamagishi's new muse for the leading role of Giselle. The lemures Kurumi-wario is used to attack the director.

Yamamoto Saeko -- appears in the first season. She was a former Ski Princess who held a contest to see who would replace her. The winner was Rei. Thinking that she was Sailor Moon, she turned into Blizzar, one of Kunzite's youma.

Yon Shugo Shin [or Jin] no Senshi -- The official name of the group of senshi which consists of Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Venus. It means "soldiers of the four guardian deities." This group is commonly called the Inner Senshi.

Yoshina Takamori -- the voice actress of Viluy/Yui Bidou, the third witch to appear in the Sailor Moon S season, in episode 122.

Your Handmade Wedding Dress Contest -- Your Handmade Wedding Dress Contest was a contest held at Juuban Hall in episode 016. According to the sign, the contest was held in 1992, the year that the episode aired. For the maker of the best wedding dress, the grand prize winner will receive a free wedding reception at Juuban Hall. The first place prize is a VCR deck, while the second prize is a CD player. When Rei asks what will happen if a girl without a fiance wins, she is told that the ceremony can be held whenever the grand prize winner wishes, "no matter how many years in the future that may be."

Youth's Perspiration Attack -- an attack used by the phage Sailor Guts in episode 174. Sailor Guts yells the phrase while hurling two large, very strong smelling balls of perspiration at his opponent, which are powerful enough to burn holes in whatever they come in contact with.

Yu Kazuma -- a handsome young actor on the television series "Jump Out Friends" who appears in episode 115. Mimete dragged him out of a restaurant he was in to a nearby park for the alleged purpose of introducing him to other autograph-seeking fans like herself. Instead, the Witch instructed the daimon U Tomodachi to extract his Heart Crystal. It was later returned to him. See also: U Tomodachi.

Yui Bidou -- Viluy's disguise while she was at Mugen Gakuen school. She was the only student to surpass Ami's test scores, and the leader of the science class. She appeared in episode 122 and lasted for only 1 episode.

Z-files Of the Detective Boy Holmes, The -- the show that the famous actress Alice Itsuki plays on, shown in episode 173. Alice Itsuki is attacked by Sailor Iron Mouse for her starseed and turned into Sailor Beauty, but she was later healed by Sailor Moon. The show is immensely popular, with a viewing audience of over 35%. The Three Lights have even appeared on it and filmed several scenes in Juuban Park.
