J. Dite -- J. Dite is the alias used by Jadeite on his radio program Midnight Zero.

Jack It Up! -- the attack used by the daimon Steering, who appeared in episode 92. In this attack, mechanical jacks were used to bind the wrists and ankles of her opponent which then increased in length, thereby suspending the individual several feet above the ground, incapacitating them.

Jakokusuishou -- the black crystal from Sailor Moon R which grows with negative, dark energy. The Black Moon Clan intends to let it grow enough to open the Black Gate and allow the world to be destroyed.

Jakoukai -- Also known as Lady Rose. She invited Usagi to join her "Princess Seminar", a training course in manners, because of her frisbee throwing ability. Kunzite had told her that Sailor Moon's Moon Tiara Action attack would be reflected by this trait. She later trapped Rei, Minako, and Usagi in a room, thinking that their poor dancing ability was another trait of the Moon Princess. To attack, she shoots wax from various shells on her body.

Jan, Ken, Pon -- Jan, Ken, Pon is a new show that will be airing on Channel 9 in the spring. The show was produced by TV Ashita, and will feature the popular idol Mikan Shiratori. This show was mentioned only in episode 007, on a sign outside of the TV Ashita studio. The name of the show translates to "Rock, Paper, Scissors."

Jenny -- a name that Mixx used for Sailor Saturn, while in her civilian form. It was later admitted that this was a mistake. In the English dub, she is named Hotaru, and in the Japanese original, she is also named Hotaru Tomoe.

Jill Frappier -- the English voice actress of Luna. She has also done voices in numerous children's television shows.

Jinta Araki-- a handsome young idol singer and actor who appeared in episode 114. He was in a competition for young stars with Mimete and Minako Aino called Heroine Addition - the winner of that competition would be allowed to star alongside him in his next movie. Mimate lost the competition and was quite angry with this, so she instructed the daimon U Tahimee to extract his Heart Crystal, which was later returned to him. Jordan Winston -- little boy that Serena & Darien babysat in the dubbed episode, "Much Ado about Babysitting", part of Sailor Moon R. When his mother comes to get him from Darien's apartment at the end of the day, he says his first words: "ByeBye Meatball Head!"

Juliana -- Juliana is Noriko Okamachi's fat, white and black cat who appears in episode 178. She ususally calmly sits in Noriko's arms while having her head rubbed. When Iron Mouse appears, however, Juliana scratches Noriko and runs away. Later, when the senshi run in, Usagi trips over Juliana and falls!

Jump Out Friends -- a television series that is mentioned in episode 115. It stars the young actor Yu Kazuma, whose Heart Crystal is extracted by Mimete's daimon U Tomodachi, who is a product of the script of episode 115 of that show with a daimon egg.

Jun Hou -- an antique doll said to be worth 10 million yen. Yaten Kou suspects that the doll that ChibiChibi always carries around (give to her by Jyotaro Kiriyama) is the doll. In episode 186, ChibiChibi breaks the doll.

Junpaku dress no yume! Usagi hanayome ni naru

Jupiter Coconut Cyclone -- Sailor Jupiter's manga only attack in which leaves swirl around her. It is very much like Jupiter Oak Evolution, and it has a very high powerful. It appears first in act 24, volume 07.

Jupiter Crystal Power Make-up -- What Makoto Kino says to transform into Super Sailor Jupiter, her final form in the anime. This power was given to her by Pegasus in the anime, but in the manga she found the strength within herself. It first appears in episode 154, and throughout Sailor Moon SuperS and Stars. black & white manga

Jupiter Oak Evolution-- Sailor Jupiter's most powerful attack, which appears in episode 154. Leaves swirl around her, and are then sent towards the enemy. In the manga, she can only use it after transforming with Jupiter Crystal Power. It first appears in act 37, volume 13 of the manga. anime anime anime black & white manga

Jupiter Planet Power Make-up -- What Makoto Kino says to transform into her manga only form of Super Sailor Star Jupiter, her final form.

Jupiter Power -- What Lita says to transform into Sailor Jupiter. It appears in episode 21, and continues through the first season and part of Sailor Moon R. Known as Jupiter Power Make-up in the Japanese original. black & white manga

Jupiter Power Make-up! -- What Makoto Kino says to transform into Sailor Jupiter. It appears in episode 25, and continues through the first season and part of Sailor Moon R. Known as Jupiter Power in the dub.

Jupiter, Super Sailor Star -- a fan-created term which refers to the final form of Sailor Jupiter in the manga. Makoto Kino transforms to Super Sailor Star Jupiter with the phrase "Jupiter Planet Make-up".

Jupiter Star Power -- What Lita says to transform into Sailor Jupiter in part of Sailor Moon R, S, and SuperS. It is first seen in episode 59, and is more powerful that Jupiter Power. Known as Jupiter Star Power Make-up in the Japanese original.

Jupiter Star Power Make-up -- What Makoto Kino says to transform into Sailor Jupiter in part of Sailor Moon R, S, and SuperS. It is first seen in episode 65, and is more powerful than Jupiter Power Make-up. Known as Jupiter Star Power the English dub.

Jupiter Thunderclap Zap -- Sailor Jupiter's third attack, which appears in Japanese episode 65. Thunderbolts strike the lightning rod in her tiara, and the energy from these thunderbolts becomes compacted into a highly charged and destructive orb of energy inside her folded hands, which she then throws at her opponent. This attack is very powerful, and can stun or destroy an enemy, and can even be performed while running. It is her main attack during the R and S seasons. In Japanese original, it is known as Sparkling Wide Pressure.

Jupiter Thunder Crash -- Sailor Jupiter's first attack, it is also known as Supreme Thunder in the Japanese original of Sailor Moon. She sends bolts of energy to kill or weaken the enemy. First appears in English Episode 21.

Jupiter Thunder Dragon -- Sailor Jupiter's second attack, which appears in first in English episode 49. It is also known as Supreme Thunder Dragon in the English version, and is only seen in Sailor Moon R about once. She gathers lightning and sends it towards the enemy in the shape of a dragon.

Juuban Art Museam

Juuban Bookstore -- a bookstore which appeared in episode 113. The famous young author Ukon Katakuri holds an autograph signing in the store where Mimete gets his autograph. Later, in the parking lot, she instructs a daimon to take his Heart Crystal. See also: U Henshuu

Juuban Gallery -- The Juuban Gallery was the location for an art exhibit in episode 028 featuring the illustrations of artist Yumemi Yumeno.

Juuban Hall

Juuban Heights -- Juuban Heights is the apartment complex in which home economics teacher Higure Akiyama lives in episode 016.

Juuban High School -- the school that everyone high-school aged attends after the Sailor Moon S season in the anime, except Rei. Haruka and Michiru also attend school here, because Mugen Gakuen was destroyed. Having them begin high school in the Stars season was a mistake -- they should have begun in the SS season, and in the manga, they did.

Juuban Matsuri -- an annual district-wide festival that occurred in episode 103. Rei Hino was on the promotion committee for the festival, and she asked the skilled young taiko player Maya Touno to perform, certain that the girl's skill would ascertain the celebration's success. The girl accepted, and practiced for hours to keep her concentration sharp and her attention focused. Because she displayed a pure heart in her complete dedication to the taiko, a traditional Japanese drum, Eudial selected Maya as a potential carrier of one of the Talismans. To verify this, the young girl's Heart Crystal was extracted, but it was later returned when it was determined that it did not contain a Talisman. After recovering, Maya went on to perform at the Juuban Matsuri. See also: Maya Touno.

Juuban Medical University Hospital -- a hospital located near one of the Negative Points from which could be used to open the Dark Gate. In Sailor Moon R episode 78, Esmeraude used the droid Pharamacon in an attempt to corrupt the hospital with Dark Power. Once she had managed to render the entire medical staff unconscious, Esmeraude disguised herself as a doctor and the droid disguised herself as a nurse. The duo then began distributing flu medication tainted with Dark Power which helped promote the illness rather than prevent it. As a result, the entire Juubangai district was soon hit by a massive flu epidemic which contributed to the corruption of the Negative Point with Dark Power and the growth of the Dark Hinge that had been placed in that location. Juuban Odyssey Apartments -- the apartments that Seijuurou Ginga and Natsumi Ginga (the aliens Al and An in disguise) lived in in the Sailor Moon R season.

Juuban Primary School

Juuban Secondary General -- a hospital that appeared in episode 185. An American doctor, Dr. Gia, flew in to Tokyo, and was to perform a life-saving operation on a young girl named Misa with a serious illness at the medical facility. However, Dr. Gia was attack by Aluminum Seiren, and his Star Seed was extracted upon arrival to the hospital. He was transformed into a phage, Sailor Doctor, but fortunately, he was healed by Sailor Moon's Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, and was able to perform the procedure on the young girl.
