Heavy Metal Papillon appears only in the manga, in Act 49, Volume 18. She is the last of
the animamates, and is also known as the Soul Hunter. Eternal Sailor Moon, Princess
Kakyuu, and ChibiChibi come across her in a graveyard in Zero Star Sagittarius, standing in
a cloud of butterflies at the graves of the Starlights. She tells them that the butterflies
are the "last flames of the stars," they are the remnant of dead senshi. Her job is to
guard the butterflies and make sure that none of them escape. She then tells them that
there are more flames yet to be extinguished, and shows them three graves that are
being dug - those of Eternal Sailor Moon, ChibiChibi, and Princess Kakyuu. She attacks
the three with vines that bind them to crosses. Just as she is about to kill them with
fire, Sailor ChibiMoon and the Sailor Quartetto appear just in time, and ChibiMoon uses
her "Pink Lady's Freezing Kiss" attack to free her comrades. Meanwhile, the Sailor
Quartetto use their "Amazones Jungle Arrow" attack to kill Heavy Metal Papillon.
in order for Heavy Metal Papillon to gain her powers, she killed Sailor Cocoon, the senshi
of her home planet, and stole her Sailor Crystal for Galaxia. Galaxia had promised her that
she would eventually receive a Sailor Crystal of her own and become a true Sailor Soldier.
The Materials collection states that she manipulates fire, and that attack is "Galactica
Scales." It also says that she "boasts sex appeal and beauty," cries easily, and that
she is a samba dancer and parent.
