Taiki Kou is one of the most interesting of the Starlights. He does not really enjoy being an idol,
and prefers to read and write poetry and study. Taiki is sort of the peace keeper between Seyia and Yaten.
He is a contradicton, writing poetry but all the time thinking that human emotions are a distraction.
Throughout the series, we see him soften up a little, smiling and eventually even laughing
(Seyia and Yaten both admit that they have not heard him laugh,especially heartily, for a long time.)
Only towards the end does Taiki realize the value of friendship and compassion.

Taiki is NOT fond of Usagi and the inners. He thought that they were nuisances
that are constantly in their way. Eventually, he sees that they are fighting for their princess and planet,
and future, like the Starlights were. Taiki was especially not happy with the friendship of Seiya and Usagi,
believing that she was leading him off the path, to finding his princess. We can see that he is extremely loyal
to his princess and when he thought Seiya was getting too involved with Usagi, asked him constantly what the mission was.

Taiki is male in the anime who turns female,like Seiya and Yaten.
In the manga, Taiki is a girl that dresses as a boy.
